Four Things Your Antivirus Fights

Four Things Your Antivirus Fights

Does your business need an antivirus solution to keep threats out of your network? It’s a simple question with a simple answer, but some companies still don’t see the need for antivirus software on their computers. They might think they are immune, but hackers know the truth--and it’s all too apparent in the face of a data loss incident that hindsight is 20/20.

Advanced Malware is Targeted, Stealthy, Evasive, and Adaptive

b2ap3_thumbnail_advanced_malware_presents_threats_400.jpgThe online world is a scary place. Viruses, malware, spyware, adware, and more are all out there trying to get at your network. These threats are almost always prevalent, but compared to each other, some are vastly superior and far more dangerous and advanced than the others. Advanced malware has the potential to disrupt your business’s operations, cause extensive data loss, and more.

Is Your Antivirus Software Up to Snuff?

b2ap3_thumbnail_is_your_antivirus_working_for_you_400.jpgAll of the security breaches and vulnerabilities of 2014 sure have made for an interesting year; first Heartbleed, then the Internet Explorer vulnerability, GameOver Zeus, and the Russian password-stealing gang. Bruce Goes to Hollywood!

BRUCE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD

Bruce Schorle from TS Tech was featured by Symantec, the fourth largest software manufacture, in a video talking about how TS Tech uses Symantec Antivirus Software to limit and control virus infections.  While Bruce did venture to California last year on an all expenses trip courtesy of Symantec, this video was shot at TS Tech in Wyomissing.  During last year’s trip to Symantec, Bruce discussed the Symantec Antivirus tool with the product development team.  Needless to say, he captured Symantec's attention and in December 2011, Symantec flew a video crew in to film Bruce and Todd and one of our clients for about a day.  The first video to be released from the footage was used by Symantec in February at their Rome Italy conference, and then again at a series of 23 Nationwide IT conferences held for other IT companies throughout the US during February.   The original footage is still in post-production to be released focusing more on TS Tech and our client JDR Fixtures.  Keep an eye on our YouTube page for more updates, and checkout the current video interviews here!
